How to edit .flac files in Adobe Audition 3.0
by nevermore on Dec.29, 2010, under music
Hi there,
So the other day i had a need to convert a .flac file to an mp3 (yes i know flac is better but ffs do they ever make it hard to dl the codec). I have a copy of Adobe Audition 3.0, which i assumed would be able to read them by defa…wait…i shoulda known it doesnt by default. So after searching the web i found a filter for Audition made by James Chapman. The filter was originally written for Cool Edit Pro which Adobe bought and rebranded as Audition.
Usage

Simply extract the contents of this archive to the main Cool Edit
or Adobe Audition program folder. This will enable FLAC
read/write support.
So for anyone else who may need it, here it is. Right Click -> Save As
Have a good one.

This track seems to invoke a lot of different thoughts in people. At first i was told that this track sounds like something from a movie. Like something you would hear at a story arch or flashback right before some murdering happens
I was then told that it sounds like i wrote it while watching Lord of the Rings lol .And then i was told it sounds like the music from Tank Girl. What sort of thoughts does it invoke in you?
